For VPCloud customers (Shared servers):
If your Visual planning access URL starts with fr01, fr02, fr03, fr04, fr05, fr06 or UK01, your configuration will be automatically upgraded:
- For servers fr01, fr02 and fr03: 06/09 (upgrade made from 10pm to midnight by our services)
- For servers fr04, fr05 fr06 or UK01: 13/09 (upgrade made from 10pm to midnight by our services)
Whether you use VPDesk (desktop application), VPPortal or VPGO, the access URL remains the same: no user action is required.
For more information or any questions, please contact your sales representative.
For VPCloud customers (Dedicated servers):
Contact your sales representative to schedule your upgrade to Visual Planning 9.
For On Premise customers (Configuration installed in your own IT Infrastructure):
To upgrade your installation to Visual Planning 9, you must:
-
- Be under a valid maintenance contract
- Send your V9 migration request to your sales representative (the serial numbers of a configuration change from one major version to another. The new serial numbers will be sent to you).
- Perform the upgrade procedure that will be sent to you and the licenses serial numbers update at the same time.
Note: if you perform the “upgrade” as described in our procedure, your server and access URL to Visual Planning will not change; the settings of the VPGeoloc, VPMail, VPSMS, etc. will not change either. - In the Admin Center: right-click on each license > update license > enter the V9 serial number you received.
Once your configuration updated, the backward compatibility guaranteed by Stilog ensures that you can use your planners as they were in the previous version
Nevertheless, we advise you to consider:
- Performing an update on a Test environment to validate existing processes and implement new features if necessary.
- Training and supporting your users
Do not hesitate to contact us, we can assist you in all these steps!
